Our Week in Pictures

Playing at the park

Look mom ducks! Quack Quack

I found some leaves

Stacking blocks on top of daddy's head is fun.

Playing in the backyard.

She looks so peaceful when she is sitting still. To bad it only lasted about 5 seconds, just enough time for me to take the picture.

We went camping this past weekend. The weather was wonderful all weekend.

Kate loves playing ball with her daddy.

Fall Catch Up

Hi everyone! It seems like I took a little summer vacation from the blog. But I think its time to catch everyone up on our lives, also my life has been threatened if I didn't update the blog soon :) This summer has been busy just take a look...

We went boating

Ate a few ice cream cones

Fell in love with shoes even Daddy's shoes

Had about a dozen watermelons

Took Bella for walks inside and outside

Made cookies with mommy

Made a few hundred messes

Hung out outside

Kate is now 19 months old. When we went to her 18 month Dr. appointment she weighed 27 lbs and was 35 inches tall. This puts her in the 99% for height. She is talking so much. She probably can say about 15 or so words and knows about 10 animal sounds. She also loves to sing, it amazes me that she knows a song after only listening to it two or three times.
I said she fell in love with shoes over the summer, this is an understatement. Kate changes her shoes at least twice a day and she is very picky about what pair she wants to wear. It makes life a little hard sometime. How do you explain to a 19 month old that she cant wear one flip flop and one dress shoe?
I would like to post Kate's 18 month pictures sometime this week. So until then!

Living Room Dance Party

We were having a good time dancing around the living room tonight; just wanted to share a little with you...

Camping Fun

I just wanted to share a few pictures from our camping trip last weekend.

Crazy baby hair!

First roasted marshmallow

Hiking in Hocking Hills
It was a lot harder with a stroller! Bella had fun swimming!

So tired after a long weekend

Like father like daughter. It is almost creepy how much they look alike in this picture.

May Continued

In the last month Kate's personality has developed so much. She is starting to understand what I say to her, most of the time she does what she wants not what I say. I'm also starting to understand her a lot more too. Little whines and nonsense words are starting to make sense. Kate talks nonstop all day long. She is so funny when she is talking to you because she waves her hands around and even laughs at her stories.
Kate is still a busy little girl. I've actually lost five pounds since she started walking. She is constantly running back and forth from the living room and kitchen. She loves to play under the kitchen table and chairs. She also loves to dance. It's so funny when Kate hears a song she likes she screams and just goes crazy. It's also funny to see her dance in the car.
Our new favorite thing is to play outside. We picked up a playhouse for Kate from a garage sale and she just loves to open the door and go in and out. She still loves when I blow bubbles but she hasn't figured out how to blow them yet. Kate loves being outside so much that she cries and throws a tantrum everything we come back inside.

Lets go outside Mom!

I also wanted to share these pictures from the Marblehead Lighthouse. It seems like we visit the lighthouse every time we visit my grandparents camper but this was the first time Kate has seen it. I'm sure it is just the first of many visits.

I love this picture!

May

Last I left you we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach enjoying a nice relaxing week away. But ever since we got home life has been stuck in fast forward. I never even found the time to post the rest of our vacation pictures so here they are. They are from a private zoo that we went to while in Myrtle Beach. It was really cool. It wasn't anything fancy but it had everything from farm animals like goats, ducks, and donkeys to lions, tigers and bears (OH MY). They also sold peanuts that you could feed to the animals. Jeff especially loved feeding the peanuts to the monkeys. He would throw them the peanut and they were actually catch them and crack them open. One of the monkeys made such a funny face when he would catch the peanut. His jaw dropped and he look so shocked that he actually caught it. Kate liked feeding the deer and goats. She would giggle when they took the peanut. We liked the zoo so much we went twice while we were in Myrtle Beach.

It was so hard to get a picture with the Zebras because there were also Emus in the area with them. If the Emu saw your peanut bag they would come running to the fence and scare the Zebras. They scared me too. You could actually hear them running up to you.

This lion would of not thought twice about eating Jeff. Jeff would growl at it and the lion would show his teeth and even started roaring. Kate and I just stood back ready to run at any moment.

What mommy?!? These goats wont nibble my fingers!

I need more peanuts!

Greetings from Myrtle Beach! Our vacation started out a little rough. When we woke up to leave on Friday Kate was sick. She looked so miserable the whole way down and cried the whole night on Friday. Luckily, it was just a 24 hour bug and she was much better today. We spent the day playing on the beach and Kate had so much fun as you can see. She just loved everything about the beach, even eating the sand, yuck!

Happy Hour!!!
Every hour by the water is a happy hour
