I took these pictures the other day when we were playing outside. They are just too cute not to share!

Easter
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Our Easter festivities started yesterday with coloring eggs. Kate is so good about putting things into baskets and cups so I let her put the eggs into the dye. Surprisingly we didn't make a mess! Although, Kate didn't want to give up the eggs once she did a few and discovered that she wasn't going to get them back.
And people think Kate gets her cheesy smile from me?!?
Kate's pretty eggs
We started our Easter morning with our baskets from the Easter Bunny. Kate got a few new books and some toys for the beach.
Wow look what I got!
Kate had some crazy hair this morning but it wasn't anything compared to last Eater! As you can see below.

Wow look at that hair! Kate's first Easter 2010
Kate is always on the move but today it seems like she was in overdrive. We couldn't even get her to sit down to take a picture. This was the best one we could get of her in her Easter dress.
Do you think I can fit in here? Well I'm sure going to try.
We spent the day with Jeff's family at his Aunt Jenny and Uncle Bill's house. Kate had so much fun playing with her cousins and running around visiting with everyone. We even had an Easter egg hunt. I was surprised at how well Kate did picking up the eggs and putting them in her bag. I know she didn't know why she was picking up the eggs but she understood that she had to get the eggs and put them in the bag.
I got another one Mom
Ill just put that in here
This is my favorite one!
With no nap and being extra busy today Kate was sure tired when we got home. She slept like that for about an hour. She looks like such a big girl sleeping in the chair. I cant help but feel sad about my baby growing up too quickly!

Are you going through withdraw? Good that is what I was going for : ) Just kidding! I cant believe it has almost been a month since Ive blogged. I guess we have been so busy because I really hadn't even thought about blogging. So lets catch you up with everything that has been going on in our lives. Kate is talking so much now. Not necessarily words just a lot of talking. She says Mama and Dada all the time. She also will talk about Bella a lot. Kate even asks where Bella is in the morning because Bella will still be under the blankets sleeping when we get up. Lucky dog! We are starting to teach Kate what sounds animals make. She knows what sounds polar bears, lions, and tigers make because they all say "grrr". We are started teaching her what sound bees make but she hasn't quit got it yet.
Kate and her buddy Rusty
Don't touch my remote kitty!!!
Kate has been going to Gymboree classes. She gets to work on fine and gross motor skills and interact with kids her age. She just loves it! The first class we went to Kate was so funny the room had balls everywhere I guess from the previous class and Kate was just going around picking them up and telling everyone she saw "ball". She is so funny because she will sit and talk to the other kids and moms like she is carrying on a conversation. I can see a lot of notes from school about Kate talking in class. I have to give credit to the class for Kate WALKING.
That's right Kate is walking! She started a week after we started classes with just a few steps here and there and now this week she is walking probably about 80% of the time. I guess something must of clicked that if these other kids can walk she should be too. We are very excited to see her walk. I was also excited that she decided to start while Jeff was home. I was so afraid he would miss it.
I have also started something new. I have decide that I'm going to be a Pampered Chef consultant. I love being a stay at home mom and couldn't imagine if I only saw Kate a few hours a day. I miss her when she takes her nap! But I also know I need something of my own. Also, with Kate getting older we are going out more and more during the day and I feel bad that Jeff is working hard while Kate and I are spending money. I also need more adult interaction, it got to a point that the only adults I talked to during the day was Jeff and the lady at the check out of the grocery store. I'm excited to start. My first two shows are this weekend, wish me luck!
I hope I get a chance to blog again before another month goes by. Have a good week everyone!
